CCTV INSPECTION AND CLEANING

Cleaning and televised inspection of sewer pipes are key to ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of wastewater systems. By eliminating obstructions (grease, roots, sediment) and analyzing the structural condition of pipes, these operations help prevent backups, breaks and service interruptions.

Cleaning is carried out using methods adapted to the type of deposits encountered: high-pressure cleaning effectively removes accumulations without damaging the pipes, while mechanical cleaning removes more resistant materials such as roots. Combined with a televised inspection, this service provides a clear view of the network's condition, enabling targeted, safe and sustainable interventions to be planned.

Televised inspection of sewer pipes enables us to diagnose the internal condition of pipes without excavation. Using a motorized camera, this technology accurately identifies anomalies such as cracks, root intrusion, grease deposits, corrosion or structural deformation. It is often coupled with prior cleaning, optimizing image quality and diagnostic efficiency. The inspection complies with PACP, MACP and LACP standards, and results in a detailed report useful for repair planning.

LINING (UV AND OTHER)

At CGI Environnement, lining is a state-of-the-art solution for the rehabilitation of sewer and storm pipes, without the need for major excavation. This method involves inserting a flexible, resin-impregnated liner, often made of reinforced polyester or fiberglass, into an existing damaged pipe. Once in place, the liner is pressurized (with water or air) and then cured by polymerization, usually using UV light or hot steam, creating a new structural pipe inside the old one.
CGI Environnement masters both spot lining (ideal for local repair of cracks or infiltrations) and continuous lining, better suited to complete pipe sections. This approach makes it possible to significantly extend the lifespan of existing networks, with minimal disruption to the surface.

What sets CGI Environnement apart in this field is its ability to propose tailor-made solutions, adapted to the technical constraints of the worksite: variable diameter, limited access, severe pipe deformation, and so on. Thanks to specialized equipment and an experienced team, CGI is able to intervene effectively on municipal and industrial networks, as well as in sensitive environments such as hospitals and city centers. What's more, our use of UV curing technologies (notably with specialized robots) ensures rapid, uniform curing of the liner, while enabling better quality control. MECHANICAL REAMING

Mechanical reaming is a specialized technique used in sewer systems to restore the hydraulic capacity of blocked or damaged pipes. Using rotating heads or cutting tools, this method effectively removes deposits, roots, scale and other materials that reduce the useful diameter of pipes. It is also used to prepare pipes for rehabilitation work such as lining or sealing, while avoiding destructive excavations.

Thanks to its efficiency and precision, mechanical reaming is a cost-effective, non-invasive solution that extends the life of infrastructure. It is a key step in preventive or corrective sewer maintenance, especially when it comes to acting quickly on critical segments of the network. Performed by qualified professionals, this technique reduces service interruptions and minimizes environmental impact, while ensuring optimal long-term operation.

LEAK SEALING

Acrylamide injection sealing is an advanced solution for stopping water infiltration in sewer pipes, by effectively sealing cracks, faulty joints or other structural defects. This method involves injecting an acrylamide solution under pressure into damaged areas, where it forms a solid, watertight gel that restores the network's functionality without major excavation. It's an ideal option for extending the life of infrastructure while avoiding the high costs and disruption associated with complete replacement.

Appreciated for its precision, speed and durability, this technique can be applied to both concrete and PVC pipes, particularly in aging networks. It helps prevent excess water from entering treatment plants, reinforces existing pipes and limits environmental impact. However, its use must be strictly supervised by trained professionals, because of the precautions to be taken when handling the chemical product.

OUR STORY

Founded in 2018, CGI Environnement was born to meet concrete needs in pipe sealing, lining and inspection - three pillars that inspired its name.

From the outset, the company set itself apart by offering a complete range of services: cleaning, inspection, spot sealing, and then rapidly, lining. Despite a difficult market context, CGI Environnement invested strategically, notably in a UV lining unit and a new sealing truck, which raised its quality standards.

The company then shifted its focus to municipal and industrial mandates, with large-scale projects such as the rehabilitation of a pipe immersed in the river, or a large-diameter liner in extreme conditions.

In 2021, CGI Environnement joined the Loiselle Group as a third subsidiary, reinforcing synergies within the group and expanding its intervention capabilities.

Today, CGI Environnement stands out for its cutting-edge expertise, high-performance equipment and, above all, a seasoned team, many of whose members have over 20 years' combined experience. This human strength remains at the heart of its reputation for excellence.
